In South Florida, a foodie and partygoer paradise, St. Patrick’s Day means more than green beer. This hotbed of cool cuisine and chic cocktails likes to step it up for the Feast of Saint Patrick.

If you want to add 1.5 ounces of Irish Whiskey or Irish Cream (or a mixture of both), then the price is $14.99.

Husband-and-wife team chef Jason Zheng and Tina Wang (who also own Yakitori and Saiko-i in Boca Raton and Koi in Fort Lauderdale) have big plans for St. Patty’s Day-themed menu items.
The Wagyu Beef Gyoza are pale green, crescent-shaped pan-fried dumplings filled with Wagyu beef, shiitake mushrooms and served in a portion of six (suggested as an appetizer) for $15
The St. Patrick’s Day Roll with spicy salmon sashimi, asparagus, wrapped with avocado and topped with edamame and green tobiko for $15

On Saturday, March 12 the decor will go from punk rock to Paddy’s Day decor and there will be Green Jello Shots for $5 as well as beer and whiskey shots. This lounge/eatery on up-and-coming 13th Street will have live music and a DJ, a food truck, raffles and $20 beer bucket specials all day as well as shots and appetizers for $5 each. The Deck is pet-friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. There is also free parking.

Billed as Florida’s largest indoor food hall, Delray Beach Market will kick off St. Patrick’s celebrations on Saturday, March 12, with themed dishes, drinks and special events:
For the family, there will be a face painting and balloon animal station as well as green cotton candy for $5. There will also be a free St. Patrick’s Day crown crafting station and live music from noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m., including traditional bagpipes.
At the Central Bar there will be a St. Patrick’s Day Frozen Irish Coffee with coffee, simple syrup, Teelings Whiskey and Mr. Black Coffee Liquor for $12. There will also be a Drowning the Shamrock Shot of whiskey mixed with Guinness — where tradition calls for you to dunk a shamrock into the shot, toast the saint, take the shot and then toss the shamrock over your left shoulder.
Delray Craft will offer Guinness and Green Beer Lagers for $5 each. There will also be domestic beer and seltzer buckets for $15 and Irish Car Bomb (made with Guinness, Bailey’s and Teeling Whiskey) for $13.
On March 17 and 19 only, Big T’s Deli will have a special Slow Cooked Corned Beef Dinner with corned beef brisket, hot buttered cabbage, red skin potatoes, carrots and rye bread for $14.99.

This will be The Dubliner’s 16th and final St. Patrick’s Day celebration since the gastropub is closing to make room for the new concept, Shaker & Pie. The festivities on Thursday, March 17 will include live bands, DJs, bagpipes and Irish dancers.

On Saturday, March 12, you can watch the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Delray Beach from this restaurant’s patio has a view of the event on Atlantic Avenue as well as the Intracoastal. The parade begins at noon, but Meso will be open from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and will have drink and food specials all day as well as select menu items for $10. There will also be live music by Eric Kris from 1-4 p.m. and a DJ from 5-11 p.m.
